Daily Deal Utah Logo

I was asked by Daily Deal Utah to digitize their drawn logo and color it.  I used Illustrator to trace the original drawing of the logo.  I then went through and added the color to the logo.  They only wanted the color on the inside parts of the logo.  I wanted to use nature colors, because they are an outdoor company.  I made the background inside the circle black to make the colors pop.  I then added some shading to give the logo depth and dimension.
